Submissions will be open starting 10/15/2010 and will run until I have all the days filled up. 

Here’s how it works:

I need you to email me at JimBronyaur@gmail.com with what day you want.

Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!

There will be two writers per day, no more, no less.  I like the two writers per day method because it gives the project a chance to show its true colors – last year we had some literary stories mixed with horror stories on the same day and it worked awesome.  As, by all means, the story does NOT have to deal with Christmas.  It just has to featured the item from the song on your day.  In any way, shape, and/or form.

Now, the first two people who pick the day get it.  For those left over, I will put those names into a hat and wait until the end… and if there is a day without a writer (or two) I will pick names and send out an email to that person.  If they want it, it’s theirs.  If not, I move on.  The goal here is to get these days filled up as quick as possible. 

From there, we will stay in contact and the deadline for ALL stories will be December 10, 2010.  The first two stories will go live on December 14 and each day two more stories will go live along with the song.

PLEASE put 12 Days 2010 in the subject line.  That way my email filter can pick it up and we don’t have any mix ups!
